Goal The PRINCE2® Full Track course covers in the first 3 days a wide base of the PRINCE2® method. The course is aimed at giving students insight into the philosophy of the PRINCE2 ® method and prepares students for the official PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner exams. The Foundation exam takes place in the afternoon of the third day of the course. The remaining two days will be used for more in depth information about the methodology and to prepare for and take the Practitioner exam. Participants This course is suitable for project managers, project support staff and quality assurance staff. Also for anyone however remotely he is involved and/or participating in one or more projects. Course Description Students will be explained how the model is set up, how the different project processes and roles are connected and how PRINCE2® handles exceptions and changes, that occur in every project. During this course participants will learn how to set up a project management organization responsible for the planning and managing of a project. Participants will be taught how to define different project management roles to be assured that the project will be executed in the most effectively and efficient way. The "management by exception” method will play a key role in handling project issues. The practitioner part will focus on gaining more detailed insight and students will be triggered to see how the methodology can be used in the given project environment. It will also analyze whether the correct methodology was used, and where there is room for improvement. The last day will be concluded with the Practitioner exam (2.5 hours). General information and exam The course will be given by an accredited PRINCE2® trainer. The course consists of a mix of (mainly) theory with practical assignments. Most exercises will be done in groups. The participants can take a Foundation exam on the third afternoon and the Practitioner exam on the fifth afternoon. One must have passed the Foundation exam in order to take the Practitioner exam.
