Your benefit

You are familiar with the basic objectives and contents of ISO/IEC 20000. The related training covers basic knowledge of best practices and the required technical terminology. This training course provides you with an overview of the principles of a management system and the associated audit process. You understand the importance of measures and the continual improvement process (CIP) in your organization. The ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation Certificate forms the basis of more advanced training and certification as per ISO/IEC 20000.

Target group

IT professionals involved in the implementation of a management system who thereby adopt best practices.

Exam prerequisites

None. However, it is recommended to attend a related training with a TÜV SÜD Academy certified training institute.

Exam content

The multiple choice examination consists of 40 questions relating to the following subject areas:

 Understanding the definitions and principles of service quality management

 Understanding the position of ISO/IEC 20000 in IT Service Management

 The quality specifications for IT Service Management

 The code of practice for IT Service Management

The examination session will be conducted by an independent invigilator of the Certification Body for Persons – Examination Institute of TÜV SÜD Academy.
